If a child wants to paint a monster that loves carrots instead of a traditional landscape, that is exactly what we do. We prioritize the freedom to express over the need for neatness, so your child feels relaxed enough to actually find their own creative voice. When students walk into my studio, the first thing they leave at the door is the pressure of the outside world. My classes in Vile Parle West are designed to be a safe space where children and teenagers can disconnect from school stress. I have seen 10th-grade students come in exhausted from studies, only to leave refreshed because they finally had some 'me time' with colors. We do not chase perfection here. Instead, we chase curiosity. Whether we are trying coffee painting, sketching, or using pastels, the goal is always to enjoy the stroke. I recently had a student who was not interested in drawing until we tried a paper-cutting lesson inspired by Henri Matisse. He ended up creating an 'angry monster' that loves carrots.
