When you walk in, we start with a relaxed conversation—often over coffee or tea—to help you settle in before we even pick up a brush, ensuring you feel comfortable and ready to express yourself without any fear of judgment. ### My Teaching Philosophy I started teaching in 1988 with the simple belief that creativity is not just a skill, but a way of life. Over the decades, I have seen how art heals, brings courage, and gives hope. Whether you are a student preparing for exams or an adult looking for a therapeutic break, my goal is the same: to create a space where you can breathe, laugh, and find your own voice. ### What You Can Expect Art classes at my Juhu studio are designed to be low-pressure. You don't need previous experience to start. We explore various mediums—from canvas painting and sketching to impasto and coffee painting—to see what resonates with you. * **For Kids:** A safe place to build confidence and express what they might not be able to say in words. * **For Adults:** A therapeutic escape from the daily grind, perfect for relaxing after a long week. * **For Seniors:** A wonderful way to develop a new hobby and connect with yourself. ### Join Us in Mumbai I host regular batches throughout the week at my studio in Vile Parle West/Juhu. We also take these workshops to society halls, offices, and homes across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. If you have been waiting for a sign to pick up a brush, this is it. Come by for a trial session, share a conversation, and let’s see where your creativity takes you. ## About Shefali Raj I’m Shefali, and I’ve been teaching art since 1988.
