Every composition is recorded with live classical musicians—vocalists, percussionists, and instrumentalists—to ensure the sound carries the genuine 'rasa' (essence) required for the stage. If you are planning a performance, let us discuss the instrumentation that will bring your story to life. My work in this cluster reflects a philosophy of 'Santosha'—the satisfaction found when art is aligned with Dharma. When you see these images of '18 Days' or my solo Kathak work, you are seeing the result of a process that values tradition over trends. ### The Process of Creation My approach is straightforward. I look at studio time as a space for honesty: the mirror shows me what to fix, while the dustbin handles what does not work. This is how we refine complex rhythmic cycles and Abhinaya (expression) until they feel right. ### Why Live Music Matters For many of my productions, I compose original scores, blending Carnatic and Hindustani styles. I believe synthesized music often lacks the soul required for storytelling. By working with live musicians, I ensure the melody and rhythm breathe with the dancers, creating a cohesive experience for the audience. Whether it is a large-scale dance-drama like the Mahabharata saga or a smaller thematic piece, the focus remains on authenticity. ### Working Together If you are looking for choreography or musical composition, my role is to act as a partner in your vision. We start by selecting the right Sanskrit verses or literary themes, then move into rhythmic calculation and structural design.
