My blood portraits offer a unique, reddish-brown aesthetic that is deeply intimate and requires a small, sterile sample of your own blood in an EDTA vial. If you prefer something more classic, my charcoal sketches on acid-free paper provide sharp, monochromatic detail that works perfectly for family or pet portraits. I started painting with blood because it felt more real than standard ink. It is a raw, organic medium that carries a literal piece of the subject in the work. When you commission a blood portrait, I use a professional, hygienic process to ensure the sample is handled correctly. Every piece is treated with a UV-resistant sealant to protect the color and texture over time, ensuring your portrait remains a permanent keepsake. For those who prefer a traditional aesthetic, my charcoal portraits rely on high-grade pencils and paper. I focus on realistic shading and capturing the distinct personality of the subject, whether it is a candid family photo, a solo portrait, or a tribute to a pet. I frame each piece in a synthetic fiber frame, ready for you to hang on your wall as soon as it arrives. Since I work out of my Bengaluru studio, I can coordinate with clients across India. If you have a specific message or a quote like 'Ninnage Preethi' you want included, let me know. I work from your photos, so high-quality, clear images help me capture the details, like the expression in your eyes or the texture of your hair, that make the portrait feel like you. ## About Sharan Ediga I am Sharan.
