We sit with you to script your actual journey—meeting, proposal, favourite moments—and record professional voiceovers that play alongside the dance. This means 2 to 3 dedicated rehearsal sessions just to nail the timing and projection angles, ensuring your story hits exactly the right beat when the lights go down. ### How We Bring Your Story to Life A shadow dance performance is about more than just moving behind a screen. It is a theatrical piece that turns your relationship timeline into a visual show. **The Process** 1. **Storyboarding:** We start by talking to you about your journey. How did you meet? What are your inside jokes? We draft a script based on real memories so the act feels personal, not formulaic. 2. **Audio Production:** We record custom voiceovers and mix them with your favourite tracks to create the audio backbone of the performance. 3. **Rehearsal & Staging:** Our 3 to 4 professional dancers train specifically for the shadow formations. We coordinate with your venue AV team for projector placement and screen setup, so you do not have to worry about the tech side. ### Why This Works for Your Sangeet Most guests at a Sangeet are used to standard Bollywood medleys. A shadow act creates a moment of silence where the room actually stops to watch. It allows you to showcase the emotional side of your love story without having to speak on a microphone. Whether you want a lighthearted take on your first dates or a romantic tribute to your journey, the silhouettes provide a classy, artistic way to deliver that message. ## About Shamo Dance Company At Team SMDC, we live for that moment the stage lights hit the screen. We do not just teach steps; we get to know your story so the shadow act feels like it is straight from your lives, not a generic routine. It is all about hard work and that perfect sync.
