We focus on master blocking and synchronization for casts of 20 to 40, handling the backstage cues so your show runs like clockwork. Whether it is a theatre stage or a film set, our team manages the transitions so you can focus on the performance. When you are directing a production, you cannot afford gaps in the choreography. We treat stage and theatre projects with a focus on spatial awareness and formation strategy. Our process begins with understanding the narrative, whether it is a mythological theatre production at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre or a dynamic short film sequence with veteran actors like Puneet Issar. We handle the heavy lifting: designing V-formations and circles for maximum stage visibility, managing backstage entry and exit cues, and coordinating costume changes for large groups. We have experience training diverse casts, from professional dancers to students, ensuring everyone hits their marks. Our staging approach includes master supervision and repeated rehearsal sessions to build muscle memory, so your team looks sharp under the lights. Beyond just the steps, we coordinate with the technical crew for lighting and sound integration, ensuring the dance becomes a seamless part of the show. If you need a partner who understands the logistics of a grand stage and the nuances of directing for the camera, we are ready to build that vision with you. ## About Shamo Dance Company We are Team SMDC, and for us, theatre is where the magic happens. We love the chaos of rehearsals and the thrill of turning an empty stage into a story. Working with legends like Puneet Issar or managing massive troupes for big-ticket theatre shows taught us one thing: keep the energy high and the execution precise.
