We integrate our in-house catering arm, Swadeshi by Shamiyana, directly into the decor planning. This means the food plating, the table runners, and the lighting aren't separate elements; they are designed together so your table looks cohesive from the moment you sit down until the final toast. We have moved past the idea that dining is just about the food. Our approach to tablescapes is about immersion. Whether we are transforming our rooftop in Sushant Lok into a boho-picnic zone with low pallets and pampas grass, or styling an elegant, dark-theme romantic dinner, the goal is always the same: comfort and aesthetic balance. ### How We Style Your Table We focus on three pillars for every dining setup: * **Texture:** We mix organic elements like pampas, jute, and wood for our boho themes, or transition to silk runners, gold-rimmed plates, and velvet accents for formal dinners. * **Lighting:** This is our secret weapon. We don't just use standard bulbs. We layer fairy lights, candles in hurricane vases, and ambient floor lighting to make the space feel private and disconnected from the city rush. * **Flow:** We arrange the seating to allow for genuine conversation. Whether it is a couple's anniversary or a group birthday, the table layout is designed to keep the group connected, not just seated. ### The Catering Connection Since we handle the food through Swadeshi by Shamiyana, we avoid the 'caterer-decor mismatch' where the food style clashes with the table aesthetics. We style the menu presentation—from the grazing platters to the fine-dining service—to match the specific theme we have built for you. If you have a specific vision, like a pink-themed bridal lunch or a moody wine-and-dine night, tell us. We will curate the plates and the decor to match. ## About Shamiyana We are Shamiyana. We turned our Gurugram rooftop into a sanctuary for people who want to step away from the city noise. We love the tiny details like fresh marigolds, fairy lights, and that perfect 'Ghajra mohabbat wala' touch that makes a space feel like home.
