While our photos show the aesthetic, the real magic happens at our live stations, where we prepare dishes like our signature Mutton Dum Biryani or molecular chaats right before your guests. Whether you want a strictly traditional spread or a fusion-heavy menu, we tailor the service flow to match your event’s specific pace. For over five decades, we have defined what catering means in Mumbai. Our work at Shalimar isn't just about feeding a crowd; it is about honoring a culinary history that started in 1970. We have spent years perfecting the balance between old-school Mughlai favorites and the high-energy demands of modern weddings. ### Where Tradition Meets Innovation We don't force you to choose between nostalgia and trends. Our kitchens, spanning from Jogeshwari and Marol to Vashi and Kurla, are fully equipped to handle both. You get the authentic, slow-cooked Mutton Dum Biryani recipe that built our reputation alongside contemporary setups like live Chocolate Shawarma stations or Sushi bars. ### The Shalimar Process - **Menu Curation:** Every event gets a custom menu. We sit down to understand the flow of your wedding or corporate gathering before suggesting items. - **Presentation Standards:** We treat food as design. From gold-rimmed crockery for sit-down dinners to thematic buffet skirting, the visual appeal is as important as the flavor profile. - **Live Execution:** We focus on the theatre of food. Our chefs are trained to interact, ensuring that the wait time at counters like our Tawa station is part of the entertainment. Whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a large-scale banquet, our team brings the same level of care to the table. We handle everything from the staffing ratios and white-glove service to the complex logistics of multi-cuisine setups. If you are looking for caterers who understand the rhythm of a Mumbai celebration, let’s talk. ## About Shalimar We are the Bombay-born Shalimar, carrying a culinary legacy that started in 1970. We don't just feed your guests; we bring soul to the table, whether it is classic Mughlai recipes passed down through decades or a surprise live counter that gets everyone talking.
