Whether it’s the heritage restoration of Parsi Dairy Farm or creating functional, modern office environments, we prioritize blending soul, history, and utility. When you work with us, you aren't just getting a design; you're getting a space built on deep research and authentic storytelling. Design is a conversation between the past and the future. My firm was founded on the belief that a space should feel lived in, not just staged for a photograph. This philosophy—what I call 'modern heritage'—is the common thread in all our recognized work. ### Why Our Approach Gets Recognized - **Deep Contextual Research:** When we took on the Parsi Dairy Farm project, it wasn't about a fresh coat of paint. It was about researching 100 years of legacy to ensure our design honored that history while adding a contemporary, vibrant layer. - **Smart Functionality:** Whether it is an award-winning office space featured in Elle Decor or a boutique commercial store, my focus is always on the 'smart' factor. We integrate hidden storage, pop-up units, and multi-functional furniture so that every square foot serves a purpose. - **Material Honesty:** We believe in showing materials for what they are. From site-cast Terrazzo to rich veneers, our team spends time at quarries and showrooms to select elements that feel honest and tactile. Being featured in publications like Architectural Digest and Interiors & Decor confirms that this mix of detailed, hands-on architectural work and clear, functional planning resonates with clients and critics alike. If you are looking for a design partner who cares as much about the plumbing layout as the ceiling detail, I would love to talk about your project. ## About Shahen Mistry Architects I’m Shahen Mistry. For me, design isn't just about paint and tiles; it’s about history, feeling, and function.
