For every folk art session, we provide all the specialized materials, from the mirrors and clay needed for Lippan work to the specific brushes and paints for Kerala Murals. You simply show up, and we walk you through the traditional techniques step-by-step. Our Indian folk art workshops are designed to bridge the gap between ancient traditions and modern creative expression. We focus on specific styles that require patience and precision, breaking them down into manageable techniques that work for both beginners and experienced painters. ### Styles We Explore * **Kerala Mural:** Known for divine figures and vibrant color palettes, we teach you how to handle the detailing and layering that makes this style so distinct. * **Lippan Art:** This traditional mud-and-mirror craft from Kutch is tactile and rewarding. We provide the base and mirrors so you can focus entirely on creating your geometric patterns. * **Gond and Sohrai Art:** These tribal styles are rooted in storytelling. We help you master the specific dot-work and line patterns that define these art forms. ### Why Choose Our Workshops? * **Flexible Learning:** Join us at our Koramangala studio for an immersive experience, or connect with us online. We have successfully guided students from across India and even international locations through our interactive sessions. * **Personalized Pace:** Whether you are looking for a one-off weekend workshop to create a piece of decor or want to join a series to deepen your knowledge, we adapt the session to your speed. * **No Experience Needed:** If you have never picked up a brush, you are exactly who we designed these classes for. We skip the jargon and get straight to the process of creating art that you will be proud to display at home. ## About Shades Creative Learning We believe everyone has a bit of creativity waiting for a nudge.
