We handle the match logistics, including FA-qualified referees, match balls, bibs, and water stations, so players focus entirely on the game. Our roaming photographers capture the action, and every tournament concludes with an awards ceremony recognizing not just the champions, but also individual standouts like best goalkeeper and defender. The Inter SG5 Cup is where our academy culture meets matchday reality. We organize these internal tournaments to foster a strong football community across our various branches, including Malad, Goregaon, and Powai. Our goal is to give every player a platform to test their skills in a competitive, fun, and supportive environment. ### Why We Organize This Way We move beyond standard friendly matches to create a tournament atmosphere. By using a league-cum-knockout format for age groups from U8 to U20, we maximize playing time and reduce waiting periods. For our youngest players (U6), we utilize 3v3 formats on smaller pitches to encourage more touches on the ball and higher engagement. ### What You Can Expect - **Inclusivity:** We host specific categories for boys, girls, and women's teams to ensure everyone has a fair shot at playing. - **Professionalism:** We provide match commissioners, live scoring updates via our partner app, and dedicated first-aid support on the sidelines. - **Recognition:** We believe hard work deserves a reward. Every event wraps up with trophies for winners and medals for finalists and individual award winners. ### Our Tournament Commitment Whether it is the Inter SG5 Cup or our annual SGI Super Cup, our team manages everything from fixture scheduling to ground setup. We take care of the details, like securing tournament partners and sponsorships for gear, so that participants experience a properly managed football league in the heart of the Mumbai suburbs. ## About SG5 Football Academy We are a football family spread from Powai to Borivali, dedicated to shaping talent and building confidence on and off the pitch. This tournament is our way of celebrating the progress of our players, from those just starting their journey to our competitive elite squads.
