We moved away from mass-production years ago because we noticed that the best results come from individual attention to thread tension and bead placement. ### Why Handwork Matters Machine work is fast, but it lacks the depth of traditional techniques like French knots, zardozi, and sequence-layering. When we apply embroidery to a collar or shoulder, we calculate the weight of the fabric to ensure it doesn't pull or sag while you are wearing it. This is particularly important for heavy fabrics like velvet or silk, which we often use for reception and wedding sherwanis. ### The Custom Process When you come into our shop, we start by selecting the base fabric. We need to know the occasion and the lighting—a haldi function in the daylight requires different thread colours than a night-time reception. Once the base is set, we map out the embroidery density. We sketch the placement based on your build, ensuring the embroidery hits the right spots on your shoulders and chest.
