## About Creative & Editorial Makeup

Every editorial look you see here isn't just about makeup; it's a technical challenge we set for our students. For our recent Padmavati shoot, we focused specifically on the 'tear-drop' technique without using artificial drops—the model had to channel real emotion to get that perfect, raw capture. When you learn with us, we don't just teach you how to apply foundation; we teach you how to build a character and tell a story with a brush.

Creative makeup is where we truly let our hair down. It is not just about looking pretty; it is about character building, texture play, and cultural storytelling. Whether we are recreating the regal elegance of Rani Padmavati or capturing the vibrant, salty-air spirit of a Koli look at the Satpati fish market, each project is a lesson in patience and detail.

When my students practice on these thematic looks, they learn more than just product application. They learn:
- **Color Theory & Texture:** Using gold leaf, fresh flowers for 'fulanchi veni', and waterproof bases that can survive an entire day of shooting.
