Whether you are struggling to keep your silk saree pleats crisp or want to master the 5-minute pre-pleated drape for busy wedding days, we practice until your muscle memory takes over. I provide all the tools—professional mannequins and steam irons—so you learn how to handle fabric weight and pinning hacks safely without damaging the delicate zari. Learning to drape is a journey of understanding fabric. When you come to my studio in Dombivli, we do not just talk about theory. I walk you through the physics of the fabric, whether it is stiff Kanjivaram silk or fluid georgette. ### What we cover in practice * **Fabric-Specific Pleating:** Every material behaves differently. I teach you how to iron and stack pleats so they stay sharp on cottons and drape gracefully on silks. * **The Pinning Secret:** I share my double-lock safety pin techniques, which ensure your saree remains secure through hours of events without tearing the fabric. * **Pre-pleating Methods:** You will learn how to create pre-pleated sarees for yourself or your clients, allowing for a professional look in under five minutes. * **Body Awareness:** We work on how to adjust pleat size and pallu size and pallu length to suit different heights and body types, ensuring the drape accentuates the figure rather than hiding it. ### Why this approach matters Many students come to me thinking draping is about luck.
