Whether it is an IIT fest winner recording their debut album or an aspiring singer prepping for a Bollywood vocal workshop, our focus is on giving you direct access to the process. You get to use the same Neumann microphones and signal chains we use for professional artists, so you know exactly what to expect when you head out to work in the industry. ### A Century of Musical Growth We have been a part of Delhi’s music scene since 1924, and our approach to workshops and auditions reflects that history. We do not believe in abstract training. We bring in industry names like Shikhar Kumar or international collaborators like DJ Mariana Bo precisely because our students need to see how the pros actually work. ### Why Workshops at Katharas? Most workshops focus on theory; we focus on the *safar* (journey) of a song. * **Real-time Feedback:** Our sessions are hands-on. You aren't just listening to a lecture; you are recording and getting immediate feedback on your takes. * **Professional Setup:** You learn to navigate an acoustically treated environment with professional vocal booths, ensuring your skills are industry-ready. * **Industry Connections:** We frequently host casting teams, music directors, and scouts looking for fresh talent for jingles, albums, and reality shows. ### The Audition Advantage We treat our auditions as collaborative opportunities. When we partner with festivals like IIT Kanpur’s Antaragni or host auditions for major production houses, we facilitate the entire process—from rehearsals to the final recording. Our goal is to provide a stress-free space where you can focus entirely on your performance. If you are serious about making a mark in Bollywood or the indie circuit, this is the place to get your start. ## About Saraswati Music College We have been living and breathing music for nearly a century. Whether you are here for a weekend workshop or a high-stakes audition, we treat you like a colleague, not a student. It is all about passing on the *jazba* (passion) that has kept our doors open since 1924.
