Whether it is the rhythmic lines of Warli or the bright, structured details of Madhubani, I help kids understand the cultural stories behind their drawings, making every stroke meaningful. Art is a powerful tool to introduce children to their heritage. In my studio at Pitampura and during our live online sessions, I teach kids that festive art is not about perfection—it is about expression and understanding our roots. ### Traditional Techniques Made Easy My approach simplifies intricate styles so young hands can follow along without frustration. We explore: * **Warli Art:** We focus on the geometric shapes and storytelling aspect of this tribal art from Maharashtra, perfect for improving focus and fine motor control. * **Madhubani Painting:** We learn the characteristic double-line borders and bright color palette, which helps kids practice patience and steady hand movements. * **Festive Themes:** From capturing the diyas of Diwali to the vibrant kites of Makar Sankranti, we use art to celebrate the season. This helps children associate art with joy and cultural pride. ### Why Join My Classes I focus on 'gentle guidance' rather than strict correction. My goal is to build confidence so that every child feels like a successful artist, regardless of their starting skill level. Whether your child is joining from home via Zoom or attending my studio sessions, they get individual attention to help them refine their technique. Mistakes are welcome in my classroom; they are just part of the learning journey. ## About Sonika Gupta I’m Sonika, the founder of Saraswatei Learnings in Pitampura.
