Whether we are sketching on mini canvases or practicing watercolor landscapes, I ensure you aren't just copying a reference line-by-line, but actually understanding how to build a drawing from scratch. We work on correcting your proportions and shading as you go, which helps you build genuine confidence in your art. ### A No-Pressure Approach to Art Many students come to me worried that they lack 'natural talent.' In my sessions, we strip away that fear. Art is not about creating a masterpiece in one sitting; it is about the process of observation. **What You Will Experience:** * **Step-by-Step Guidance:** I break down complex subjects—animals, landscapes, and cartoons—into simple geometric shapes. You will learn to see the structure behind the object. * **Interactive Sessions:** Whether joining my online Zoom batches or sitting in my Pitampura studio, I keep group sizes small. This ensures you get my direct attention, just like a private tutor. * **Confidence Building:** My 'no punishment' philosophy means we treat mistakes as part of the learning journey. If a line goes crooked, we learn how to integrate it into the design rather than erasing it. ### Why Start Drawing? Beyond just making pretty pictures, these classes are designed to build patience and focus. For younger children, it helps improve hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. For adults, it serves as a therapeutic break from daily stress. **Commonly Asked Questions:** * **Do I need materials?** I will guide you on what to buy, but you can start with basic pencils and paper. We gradually move to watercolors, brush pens, and markers as you get comfortable. * **Is this for kids only?** While my core focus is helping children up to 12 find their voice, I have dedicated workshops where moms and teens join to learn doodling and creative illustration. Art is a gift, and I am here to help you unwrap it, one stroke at a time. ## About Sonika Gupta I'm Sonika, and my mission is to show kids and moms that art is a feeling, not just a technical skill.
