We balance foundational drawing techniques for Jr. KG children with rigorous composition and design training for our senior students preparing for government grade exams. Whether working on a tote bag or a detailed still life canvas, every piece shown here reflects a specific stage in our students' learning journey. At Saptarang Art Academy, our curriculum is designed to evolve with your child. We start with basic motor skills and shape recognition for young learners, moving towards complex techniques like shading, perspective, and color theory as they grow. ### Our Creative Approach - **Foundational Skills:** For our younger students, we focus on oil pastels and craft-based projects. This helps children build confidence and fine motor skills in a social group setting. - **Advanced Training:** We coach senior students (ages 10 to 16) in professional techniques, including acrylic on canvas, watercolor washes, and traditional Madhubani art. This is tailored for those looking to develop a serious portfolio or prepare for Elementary and Intermediate Drawing Grade Exams. - **Flexible Learning:** While our Andheri East studio offers a collaborative environment with floor seating and live props for observational drawing, our online classes on Google Meet provide the same interactive feedback, allowing students to learn techniques in real-time from the comfort of their homes. ### Why Parents Choose Us We believe art is not just about the final image but about the process. From outdoor landscape sessions to festive-themed workshops, we encourage students to experiment with different mediums. Our annual exhibition serves as a platform for students to display their hard work, giving them a sense of pride and accomplishment that goes beyond just a hobby. We keep batch sizes small to ensure every student receives personal correction on their pencil strokes or paint blending, ensuring they are truly learning the craft. ## About Saptarang Art Academy I started Saptarang Art Academy in 2005 with one goal: to make sure every child feels the joy of creating something new.
