## About Art & Craft Classes for Children

### Why I Do This

Art is about joy, not just skill. I started Saptarang Art Academy in Mumbai because I wanted kids to feel proud of their creations, whether it's a messy dinosaur painting or a prize-winning sketch. Seeing their faces light up is what keeps me going.

### Who Can Join

Kids from Jr. KG to 11th Standard are welcome. Doesn't matter if your child is just starting or already doodling everywhere - we have batches for all levels.

### How We Learn

Pick what suits you:
- In-person classes in Mumbai, where kids share ideas and work together in our studio.
- Online art classes for children, so anyone can join from home using Google Meet.

### What We Explore

We cover a lot, so kids can try everything and find what clicks:
- Drawing & Sketching: Oil pastel drawing for kids, pencil sketching, creative line art.
- Painting: Watercolors, poster colours, acrylics, and Indian traditional painting for teens like Madhubani.
- Crafts: Glass painting, tote bag painting, 3D relief work, finger painting, pop-up art.

### Extra Support

I help kids prep for art competition coaching for students and school exams. Every year, we show off their work in our exhibition. Art karna hai, bas (just want to do art, that's it).

## Meet your expert

[Saptarang Art Academy](https://mytribe.in/saptarangart)

### My story

Hi, I’m the teacher behind Saptarang Art Academy, started back in 2005. Kids’ art makes me smile, whether it’s a tiny doodle or a big canvas. My students? From little ones to teens, all buzzing with colour and ideas. When they win prizes or ace their exams, I feel super proud. Our annual exhibition is a blast – all fun, all memories, not just lessons. Art’s about joy, not just technique.

### My work

- **Art mediums for kids**: We teach oil pastels, poster colours, watercolors, acrylic painting for kids, pencil sketching, glass painting, Madhubani art classes.
- **Online and offline batches**: Classes run online on Google Meet and offline in Mumbai, plus outdoor landscape painting sometimes.
- **All age groups welcome**: Kids from Jr. KG to 11th standard join, with batches for beginners and advanced levels.
- **Exam and competition coaching**: I help students prep for elementary grade art exam coaching and school drawing competitions.
