Whether we are reviving a century-old Burma Teak roof or meticulously restoring patterned mosaic floors, our goal is to retain the soul of the space while seamlessly integrating modern requirements like climate control and updated structural safety. Our studio operates on the principle of 'rooted resilience'. We believe that a space is not merely an object to be designed, but a living narrative to be nurtured. Our approach to heritage restoration involves intensive historical mapping and structural health checks before a single brick is moved. By employing traditional craftsmanship alongside modern structural engineering, we ensure that buildings are preserved without sacrificing utility. We often salvage wood and materials, breathing new life into structures that might otherwise be forgotten. Our team specializes in adaptive reuse, transforming historic buildings into functional homes or community spaces that respect the original architectural language. From the initial measurement of arches and moldings to the final application of breathable lime-based paints, our process is defined by precision and patience.
