It is a chance to hear real feedback from seniors and fellow artists. If you are looking to commission a piece, understanding the intent and technical process behind my work matters—these exhibitions are where I put that process on full display. My journey in the Mumbai art scene has been constant, from the hallowed halls of Sir J.J. School of Art to the walls of the Jehangir Art Gallery. These exhibitions, whether it is the annual monsoon show or themed events at INS Hamla, are where I test my limits. Winning the realistic figurative award for ‘Bachelor’ at The Art Society of India was a turning point, but the real reward is the discussion that happens afterward. ### Why Exhibition Matters When I participate in these community events, I am not just showing a finished painting. I am looking for a dialogue. It is why I value workshops at Raj Bhavan just as much as a formal gallery opening—they teach you how art interacts with a space. ### What This Means for Your Commission For clients looking for custom work, these awards confirm the technical rigour I bring to every project. Whether it is an oil portrait or a large conceptual canvas, you are getting the same level of commitment that earned those recognitions. I am always open to discussing new projects—reach out if you would like to see how I can bring a vision to life for your home or office space. ## About Sanket Thorat I am Sanket, and for me, art is a dialogue that never stops. Whether I am standing at the Jehangir Art Gallery or working in my studio, the goal is always to keep learning and sharing.
