I use your specific hip and height measurements to set your pleats, then steam-iron and box-fold them so you can just step into your saree and secure it in under five minutes. It takes the guesswork out of your look, ensuring the pleat count is adjusted to your body type, not just a standard template.

### Why Pre-Pleating Your Silks Matters

Heavy fabrics like Kanjeevaram, Mysore silk, and Banarasi are beautiful but notoriously difficult to handle. They can be stiff, and if the pleats aren't set correctly, they look bulky or uneven. My goal is to fix this so you don't have to cancel plans or settle for an outfit you didn't really want to wear.

When you bring your saree to me in Jayanagar or Mathikere, I don't just fold it. Here is what happens:

*   **Steam Ironing:** I use gravity-feed irons to get those sharp, lasting pleats without leaving shine marks on the fabric.
*   **Box Folding:** For those traveling for weddings or events, I provide travel-ready box folds. This keeps your saree compressed in an A4 size package, protecting the zari and preventing wrinkles, so it's ready to wear the moment you unpack.

### Frequently Asked Questions

**Can you handle heavy Kanjeevarams?**
Yes. In fact, I prefer them. I know how to handle the heavy borders so they sit flat and don't add unnecessary volume.

**How long do the pleats stay set?**
If stored properly in the box I provide, the pleats stay crisp for months. I have had clients wear sarees months after the initial prep with no issues.

**Do you only work with silk?**
While I love silk, I also work with cottons, organzas, and designer fabrics. The process is slightly adjusted based on how the fabric holds a fold, but the result is always a saree that you can wear in under five minutes.
