For my Chevron Tulip bags, I use a sturdy, worsted-weight acrylic that holds its shape under load, while my Daisy crossbody bags rely on a tight, consistent tension to keep your essentials secure. I add internal fabric linings to prevent the stretching you sometimes see with handmade crochet, so you get the visual appeal of craft without the sag. When you look at a handmade bag, the first worry is usually durability. Will it stretch? Will the handles snap? My approach is 'ek dum araam se' (slowly and calmly).
