The sand I use is dust-reduced river sand, which keeps the visual output clean even on large displays. My cultural and mythological performances are built around the concept of Sand Melody, where the music synchronizes with the shifting images on your screen. Each performance is a unique story that exists only for that moment. I often draw themes from the Ramayana, Shiva, or yoga philosophy, making these acts suitable for festivals, cultural gatherings, and religious events. Technical preparation is key to a smooth show. I use a professional backlit lightbox with an overhead camera rig. To ensure the best result, the venue must provide a reliable PA system for the audio track and a high-contrast projection surface. For any custom story, we hold two virtual planning sessions to finalize the storyboard before the event. My goal is to make these stories accessible, meaningful, and grounded in the eco-friendly principles I follow. Whether it is a tribute to a sacred event or a celebration of nature, the performance connects the audience to our shared stories. ## About Raghavendra Hegde I am Raghavendra Hegde. My art is not just about drawing, it is about connecting to our roots. Whether for a festival or a spiritual event, I use sand to tell stories that resonate with the heart.
