I use a professional illuminated lightbox and an overhead camera rig to project every grain of sand directly onto your venue’s big screen. Whether it is a 50th wedding anniversary or a surprise birthday, your guests will watch the story of your life unfold in real time, choreographed to music that brings out every emotion, making the narrative feel like a living, breathing experience. Every family has a unique story, and my goal is to make sure it shines through. I don't just perform a show; I help you narrate your journey. From the first 'I do' at a wedding to celebrating a 101st birthday, I tailor the sand animation to fit the specific occasion. My process begins with our consultation where we discuss the key milestones you want to highlight. For a couple’s journey, we might focus on your first meeting or a special vacation, using colours and shading that match your theme. For big family anniversaries, I can create stories that span decades, showing four generations of history in just 15 minutes. Because I use live sand art, the performance is dynamic. You are not watching a pre-recorded video. My technical assistant and I handle the lighting, the projection, and the sound cues, so you and your guests can simply enjoy the moment. We need a darkened environment to make the lightbox contrast pop, and once the lights go down, the story begins. Whether it is in a hotel ballroom in Mumbai, a lawn in Vadodara, or a home celebration in Surat, I travel across India to bring these moments to life. It is not just about the art; it is about that shared reaction when the audience sees their own memories sketched in sand and gives a standing ovation. That connection is what keeps me going. ## About Neha Umak Hi, I’m Neha Umak. When my fingers touch the sand, I am not just creating art; I am telling your unique story. Capturing that raw emotion, the teary eyes, and the smiles on your special day is my greatest reward. My partner, Kundan, and I travel across India to make sure your celebration feels truly magical.
