## About Naming & Cradle (Thottilu) Ceremonies

One detail we prioritize is the structural stability of the cradle. We ensure the wooden or silver cradle is perfectly balanced and secure before we begin the heavy floral layering. Whether you choose fresh lotus buds or long jasmine garlands, we use techniques that ensure the flowers remain fragrant and intact throughout the ceremony, even if the event lasts for several hours.

For a naming ceremony (Thottilu), we believe the cradle should be the absolute hero of the room. We don't just put up flowers; we design the space around the cradle to create a festive atmosphere. We work with both traditional wooden and elegant silver cradles, ensuring they are sturdy and aesthetically pleasing. Our signature look often involves cascading jasmine and fresh pink lotus buds, which provide a classic South Indian fragrance that transforms your living room or hall.

Many parents come to us with a specific vision, like a Pichwai-inspired painting as a backdrop or a classic banana leaf wall for a more earthy vibe. We handle the entire process, from setting up the brass lamps and traditional rangoli to placing the final floral garlands. We are based in Bangalore but frequently travel to Mysore, Hyderabad, and across Tamil Nadu for these setups.

We typically schedule our installation a few hours before your muhurtham to ensure every petal is fresh and the entire decor looks sharp. Since every family and every home has different space constraints, we customize the backdrop width and prop placement to fit your specific area without feeling cramped. Our goal is to handle the logistics so you can focus on the baby and your guests while we ensure everything is picture-ready.
