We spend weeks in our jamming sessions blending the rhythmic tablas and dholak with electric guitars and keyboards, ensuring the sound is perfectly balanced for your venue—whether it is a small, intimate Ghazal evening or a high-energy wedding sangeet. Being a part of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana means that for me, music is not just entertainment; it is a discipline. This cluster gives you a glimpse into what happens before I step on stage. My band, 'Murshid', consists of 14 dedicated artists, each a master of their own craft. We believe that a true Sufi fusion experience requires more than just good vocals. ### The Anatomy of Our Sound Our 'Mehfil-e-Murshid' setup is designed to transition seamlessly between genres. During our studio rehearsals, we break down every track. We adjust the percussion interplay between the traditional tabla and the modern drum kit to make sure the soul of the song remains intact, even when we pick up the tempo for a Punjabi dance track. ### Preparation and Chemistry Chemistry is the most important element of a live band. We do not just perform; we communicate on stage. You will see this in the way our keyboardist picks up the melody from my vocals or how our percussionists sync with the guitarist to build tension before a big drop. We put in this effort because we know that when the band is in sync, the energy transfers directly to your guests. Whether we are recording in the studio or setting up for a grand corporate gala in Delhi NCR, the goal is always the same: to create a 'Sham-e-Rouhani' (evening of the soul) that stays with you. We handle the logistics, the sound mixing, and the arrangement, so you only have to focus on enjoying the music with your family. ## About Sameer Khan Niazi Music is my life, not just my job. Born into the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana, I carry my 'taleem' with me whether I am performing at a quiet gathering or a loud, packed wedding in Delhi. With my band, I do not just sing songs; I try to share a piece of my soul with you.
