I use wireless mics to move between your guests, bringing the performance right to them. This is not a passive listening experience, it is an interactive conversation between the singer and the audience, which makes every ghazal and qawwali feel personal to the people in the room. My goal is to create a 'Sham-e-Rouhani', or an evening of the soul. My band, Murshid, consists of 14 experienced artists, and together we tailor the sound to match the mood of your event. If you are hosting a quiet, seated gathering, we focus on an acoustic setup with tabla and harmonium to keep the atmosphere serene. For larger wedding Sangeet or cocktail events, we add electric guitars and a full percussion section to bring up the energy. We specialize in blending Sufi live band performances with classic ghazals and modern Bollywood fusion. I often weave in poetry, or 'shayari', to connect the songs and build a narrative throughout the set. Whether you are in Delhi-NCR or hosting a destination wedding elsewhere in India, we bring our own sound engineer and backline to ensure the music hits the right notes. Our repertoire includes: * **Acoustic Sufi Baithak:** Best for intimate, listening-focused events. * **Bollywood & Sufi Rock:** High-energy sets for when you want your guests on the dance floor. * **Orchestral Symphony:** A large-scale setup for major corporate galas or grand receptions. We do not just perform songs, we build a 'mehfil' where everyone feels included. If you have a specific song list or a favorite set of ghazals you want to hear, just let me know. ## About Sameer Khan Niazi I am Sameer Khan Niazi, and music is not just my profession, it is my life.
