In these sessions, we focus on the Kasuti technique where we ensure no knots are used, so the back looks as neat as the front. It is about patience, understanding the count, and finding rhythm in your work, whether you are picking up a needle for the first time or returning to sharpen your skills. Embroidery is a meditative practice that slows down a busy day. I teach because I believe these skills belong in our hands, not just in history books. ### What to Expect in Class * **Kasuti Basics:** Learn the counted-thread work of Karnataka. I teach you how to create geometric patterns without knots, a hallmark of true Kasuti. * **Mindfulness:** Each session is designed to be a break from gadgets. You will find that focusing on the needle and thread naturally lowers your pace and clears your mind. * **Skill Variety:** Beyond Kasuti, I guide students through Kantha, Sashiko, and other world embroidery styles. ### For Beginners and Enthusiasts If you have never held a needle, you are welcome. I provide all the materials and walk you through every step. We keep classes small so everyone gets individual attention. My goal is for you to walk away with a piece you created yourself and the confidence to keep stitching. ### Location and Details We meet at my studio in Koramangala 4th Block. Whether you are looking for a weekend hobby or a deeper study of textile arts, these sessions offer a space to learn, share stories, and contribute to keeping our handicraft traditions alive. ## About Sameeksha I am Sujaya, and I started this school to make sure our needlework traditions do not fade away.
