I painted this detailed bookshelf on black paper, filled with tiny books and plants. This means you can swap them whenever your mood changes, keeping your phone looking fresh and unique without needing to buy a new cover every time. When I paint these, I use thick gouache and acrylics on 300 GSM black or kraft paper. I prefer using black paper for these moody collections because it makes the night skies, city lights, and candlelight pop in a way white paper just cannot. Whether it is a rainy monsoon street with a single red umbrella or a detailed bookshelf filled with tiny plants, I layer the paint to get those deep, atmospheric textures. Because these are paper inserts rather than direct paintings on plastic, you have total creative freedom. You just slide the art inside any transparent phone case you own. It protects the painting from chipping or smudging, so you get to keep that fresh, hand-painted look for months. Want a rainy, cozy vibe for the monsoon, and then a starry beach night for the next month? You can switch your aesthetic whenever you want. These are perfect for anyone who loves dark academia, nature, or just wants something that feels more personal than a mass-produced cover. ## About Sambhavita Hey, I'm Sambhavita. I love painting these moody scenes at 2 AM with some lo-fi playing in the background. It honestly makes my day to create these tiny, aesthetic worlds that you can carry around with you.
