Before we install any greenery, we address the foundation by using lightweight, soilless media to reduce structural load and applying professional root-barrier sheets to protect your building's waterproofing. We balance these safety requirements with design elements like MS pergolas and ambient lighting, ensuring your terrace is both secure and visually stunning. Our approach to terrace landscape design moves beyond simple potted plants. We view the terrace as an extension of your indoor living environment. ### Our Design and Build Process 1. **Structural Integrity**: We start by assessing the load-bearing capacity of your roof. We use lightweight soilless potting mixes (coco-peat and perlite) to provide nutrients for plants without the massive weight of traditional garden soil. 2. **Zoned Layouts**: We define areas based on function. A typical project might include a dedicated social zone with a bar counter and granite top, a shaded dining area under an MS pergola, and a quieter green zone for specimen trees like Plumeria or Ficus. 3. **Hardscaping & Utilities**: We handle the full civil scope, including outdoor anti-skid porcelain tiles, wood-plastic composite (WPC) decking, and custom bar fabrication. Our teams also install IP-rated lighting for paths, steps, and feature walls to ensure the space is usable after sunset. 4. **Sustainability & Maintenance**: We install automated drip irrigation systems that remain hidden within the foliage. By selecting native plant varieties that thrive in specific light conditions, we reduce the water requirements and upkeep needed to keep the space lush throughout the year. Whether you are looking to create a quiet, meditative garden or a fully equipped outdoor lounge for entertaining, our focus is on creating a space that feels like it has always belonged to your building. We ensure that your terrace remains a long-term asset, not a temporary installation. ## About Samak Landscape We don’t treat architecture and nature as separate things; we build spaces where they blend together.
