The key to our success in the Khelo India League is simulation-based training where we replicate high-pressure match scenarios on professional AstroTurf. When you see our girls winning 7-0 or 10-0, that is the result of thousands of repetitions in our strategy sessions, where we teach them to anticipate the opponent's movement rather than just chasing the ball. ### Building a Winning Mindset Transitioning from school-level play to the intensity of the Khelo India League requires a shift in approach. It is not enough to be fast; you must be smart. At our academy, we focus on hockey IQ as much as physical fitness. We train our U-16 girls to analyze game flow, understand positioning, and execute short-corner routines with precision. ### Our Training Focus * **Match Simulation:** We use practice games against local clubs to prepare for tournament pressure. * **Position-Specific Drills:** Whether you are a forward looking to score or a goalkeeper holding the line, we run specialized drills to sharpen your role. * **Mental Toughness:** Hockey is a game of highs and lows. We teach our girls to stay composed after a goal and focused after a setback. ### The Pathway We provide a clear bridge from training to national-level competition. My academy is affiliated with Hockey India, meaning our trials are the real deal. We are constantly scouting for raw talent that is willing to put in the hours on the turf. If you are serious about representing your state or playing in the nationals, this is where you start. We train in various locations across the NCR and Delhi, using both modern AstroTurf and traditional grounds to ensure our players are versatile enough to handle any pitch condition. Come with your kit, your shin guards, and the drive to work harder than anyone else on the field. ## About Salute Hockey Academy I founded this academy in 2017 because I wanted to create a space where grit matters as much as talent. My coaching team and I don't believe in easy paths; we push these girls to be tougher, faster, and smarter players every single day. If your daughter is ready to put in the work and join a family that plays for each other, you will find a home here.
