They are about finding your own movement. Whether we are dissecting a Kathak spin or letting go with contemporary floorwork, the focus is always on the 'why' behind the movement. You will leave feeling more connected to your own body, not just tired. ### The Creative Process In the studio, tradition meets chaos. I use my Kathak training as a base but strip away the formality. We look at music, be it a Sufi track or a contemporary Bollywood number, and ask how it makes us move. This is a space to experiment. ### Why Studio Sessions? These are spaces to practice. You will find me blending classical footwork with raw contemporary impulses. It is about being 'sweaty, shaky, and safe'—a space where you can mess up, try again, and actually learn. ### What to Expect I keep sessions limited to ensure everyone gets feedback. We usually start with a warm-up that focuses on core strength and alignment, then move into a choreography flow. No two sessions are the same because I am always evolving my own movement vocabulary. ### Common Questions **Do I need to be a pro?** Not at all. If you have a basic understanding of rhythm, you are good to go. The focus is on expression and technique, not perfection. **What should I wear?** Wear something you can move in, where you can see your body lines. Joggers, leggings, whatever feels like 'you' works best. **Where do you host these?** I am split between Mumbai and London. In Mumbai, I pop up at different spaces like All Things Studio. In London, you will find me collaborating with studios like The Manor.
