We don't jump straight into fighting; we spend the first few weeks mastering 'Kihon'—the basic blocks and punches—because that muscle memory is what saves you in a real situation. You will find that our sessions are just as much about mental focus and discipline as they are about physical fitness. If you are joining for self-defense, expect to learn how to keep your cool under pressure, not just how to punch. ### Our Approach to Training At Sai Karate Academy, we believe karate is *zindagi* (life). My goal as the founder is to give every student a platform, whether you want to compete at the national level or just want to get fit and feel safe. **What to Expect in Class** * **The Basics (Kihon):** Everything starts here. We drill movements until they become second nature. * **Functional Fitness:** We use tractor tires, medicine balls, and bodyweight exercises to build the strength needed for martial arts. * **Self-Defense:** We teach practical scenarios—how to handle wrist releases, collar grabs, and street-level threats. * **Sparring & Forms:** For those ready for competition, we refine your technique in Kumite and Kata, focusing on speed and precision. **Training for Everyone** We run sessions at our branches in **Sector 5 and Sector 15**. We have morning and evening batches, so you can train around your work or school schedule. Beginners don't need to be nervous; we have separate focus areas for kids and women’s self-protection where we provide extra support. **Why Choose Us?** We are a government-authorized institution, not just a gym. I personally oversee the curriculum, and we maintain a controlled group ratio (1:15) to ensure every student gets correction on their posture.
