We do not just teach movements; we prepare you for selection trials and tournaments using the same World Karate Federation rules that I use as an official selector. Whether you are here for self-defense or the podium, you train exactly the way champions do, with a focus on disciplined technique and mental toughness. At Sai Karate Academy, we believe that karate is a journey, not just a sport. My approach, developed as India's Team Captain, focuses on building a foundation through Kihon (basics), Kata (forms), and Kumite (sparring). We operate with a clear philosophy: discipline first, followed by skill acquisition and competitive excellence. Our training structure is designed for progression: * **Basics & Fitness:** For students starting their journey, we focus on muscle memory, conditioning, and self-belief. This builds the discipline required for advanced stages. * **Competition Track:** For those aiming for the podium, we offer specialized training for district, state, and national trials. This includes high-intensity interval training, advanced Kata, and tactical sparring based on WKF regulations. * **Self-Defense:** We prioritize practical self-defense skills, specifically tailoring sessions to empower women and children. We train in two locations in Gurugram, Sector 5 and Sector 15. Every session is conducted on standard 25mm EVA puzzle mats with a focus on safety and traditional dojo etiquette. We welcome students from age four onwards, ensuring every individual, from child to adult, finds their path to a 'sunhara bhavishya'. If you are ready to put in the hard work, we are ready to provide the platform. ## About Sai Karate Academy Namaste, I am Sunil Saini. I started this academy in Gurugram to ensure every student finds their 'sunhara bhavishya' through disciplined karate training. I am here to personally guide your journey, whether you are picking up your first belt or preparing for the Commonwealth Games.
