Every batch of our nalangu maavu or herbal serum is handmade in our Thanjavur setup, avoiding the large-scale machinery that strips natural oils. You aren't buying mass-produced goods, but a small-batch, fresh preparation specifically formulated for the Indian climate. Six years ago, SaiBariya started in my kitchen with a simple idea: skincare shouldn't be expensive or complicated. I looked at what our grandmothers used, the *patti vaithiyam* that has worked for centuries, and wondered why we were chasing chemical-heavy brands that didn't understand Indian skin. ### The Thanjavur Process We operate differently. When you order a batch of our Tejas Serum or Nalangumavu powder, it isn't sitting in a warehouse. We craft products in small, controlled batches to ensure freshness. Because we use natural preservatives, our products are as close to nature as possible. We focus on ingredients like neem, tea tree, and activated charcoal—staples that actually work for our humid weather and specific skin concerns like tanning or excess sebum. ### Why Small Batches Matter Mass production usually requires silicones and parabens to extend shelf life for years. We choose a 6-12 month shelf life because we prioritize your skin barrier over convenience. We make, we pack, and we ship. Whether it is our Anti-Acne Gel or our Saffron Body Lotion, you are receiving a preparation made with intention. ### Our Commitment It isn't just about skincare.
