I see the raw 'before' stage of your event photos. My team spends the first few hours masking the industrial roof beams with heavy drapes and fairy lights. It is how we turn a cold, open terrace into an intimate space that feels warm, enclosed, and ready for guests, regardless of the weather. The magic of transformation is not about covering up the venue, but enhancing its natural character. Whether we are prepping the 4,000 sq ft Terrace Garden or the 13,000 sq ft Sky Terrace at Safina Plaza, the approach stays the same. We start with the structural 'bones'—using architectural draping to lower the visual ceiling height, which makes large, open areas feel cozy and private. Then comes the lighting. We avoid harsh floodlights. Instead, we use layer-upon-layer of warm serial lights and Par cans. This isn't just for aesthetics; it changes the mood from a corporate-looking space to a celebration-ready one instantly. For pre-wedding events like a Haldi or Sangeet, we introduce vibrant, poppy colors that contrast against the Bangalore skyline. We know the limitations of rooftop venues. We have spent years perfecting 'jugaad' (clever fixes) for wind management, stage stability, and ensuring the sound doesn't bounce around. If you are planning an event in the heart of Bangalore and worry that an outdoor space might look too plain, look at these photos. That is the difference between renting a venue and hiring a team that knows how to make a space sing. ## About Safina Banquets I am the team behind the scenes at Safina Banquets.
