## About The Wall: Wicket-Keeping & Fielding

You cannot fake a good stance behind the stumps. We spend hours on specific footwork and hand-eye coordination drills because those milliseconds of reaction time define whether a batter stays in or gets out. We focus on the 'cup' hand mechanics until they become second nature, ensuring you are ready for everything from slow spin to challenging pace.

### Building the Wall
Being a wicket-keeper is about more than just gloves; it is about reading the game. As a former international keeper, I know that the difference between a good player and a great one lies in their discipline behind the stumps. At our PCL Sports Complex facility in Sector 143, we prioritize this.

### The Drill Routine
We don't just stand around. Our sessions include:
- **Stance & Balance:** Mastering the low crouch so you can move laterally in a flash.
- **Hand Speed:** Using rebounder nets to practice collecting unpredictable deflections.
- **Fielding Mechanics:** Diving, throwing accuracy, and agility ladder work to sharpen your ground fielding.

### Why Practice Matters
Drills are for practice, but matches are where we test our steel. Whether you are in our 'Cubs' group or the Senior Performance program, you will work on these skills under pressure. We use a mix of synthetic and seasoned leather balls to ensure you get a real feel for the bounce and speed of the game. If you are ready to put in the hard work and follow the process, we have the space and the expertise to help you build those match-winning reflexes.
