## About Elegant Updos & Buns

A good updo needs more than just hairspray to last. I focus on structural integrity by using root texturizing and secure padding so your hair stays in place for 8+ hours. Whether you need a heavy bun to support a heavy dupatta or a sleek, polished look for a cocktail night, I ensure the foundation is strong so you do not have to worry about a single strand falling out as the night goes on.

My approach to updos is rooted in the idea that your hairstyle should be the last thing you worry about. When I create a bridal bun, I am not just styling; I am engineering it to withstand humidity, heavy jewelry, and hours of movement. 

### Why Structure Matters
For many of my brides, the bun needs to support a heavy veil or elaborate jewelry like a Maang Tikka or Jada Billalu. I use backcombing, specialized padding, and heavy-duty pinning to build a secure foundation. This creates the volume you see in photos without weighing your hair down. 

### The Finishing Touches
An updo is a canvas for your personality. I love working with fresh flowers like gajra or baby's breath for traditional ceremonies, and statement crystals or pearls for reception parties. If you have specific hair accessories you want to use, bring them along. I am happy to help with the placement so everything looks intentional and balanced.

### What to Expect
* **Root Work:** I always prep with professional heat protectant and volume mousse to give your hair a good grip.
* **Humidity Control:** Mumbai weather can be tricky. I finish every style with climate-control sprays to keep frizz at bay.
* **Versatility:** From a clean, slicked-back look for a black-tie event to a textured, messy bun for a Mehendi, I adapt the technique to match your vibe.
