## About Ready-to-Drape Pre-Pleating

When you drop off your saree, I do not just fold it. I take your specific measurements—including your height and the heels you plan to wear—to lock in the pleats using industrial steam ironing. This ensures that when you step into the saree, the drape stays perfectly aligned and secure for the entire event, even if you are moving around a lot.

Saree draping should not be a source of stress. Whether you have an important wedding, a quick office puja, or a festive party, my pre-pleating service is about giving you confidence. You bring the saree, and I return it ready to wear, so you can skip the struggle with tucking and adjusting in front of the mirror.

### The Process
I start by understanding your requirements. If you are attending an event, I measure your waist and height to ensure the fall is perfect. I use industrial steam iron to create thermal locking, which keeps the pleats crisp from the first minute to the last. For the pallu, I ensure the folds are set to drape gracefully without slipping.

### Fabric Handling
Different fabrics need different techniques:
* **Chiffons and Organza:** These are tricky and slippery, so I use rust-proof stainless steel pins to lock them in place so they do not shift.
* **Heavy Silks:** I take extra care with the zari and borders, ensuring the box folds are aligned properly to prevent permanent creases.
* **Everyday Cotton:** For these, I focus on crispness so you look sharp even for a casual outing.

### Beyond Pleating
If your new saree needs finishing touches, I handle those too. From stitching the fall and doing pico edging to adding hand-knotted kucchu tassels, I prepare your saree for its first wear. All my work is done from my studio in Mathikere, serving clients from all over Bengaluru who want to save time and look their best.
