You share the stories, the inside jokes, and the vibe, and I just listen. This consultation is how I ensure the lyrics aren't just rhyming words, but are actually about you and the people you care about. ### From Story to Song I’m not the type to use heavy industry jargon. For me, songwriting is about translation—taking your memories and turning them into a melody. **The Process:** * **Consultation:** We start with a 30-45 minute chat. I need the messy details, the funny stories, and the specific emotions you want to capture. I take all of this down in my notebook as the blueprint for your song. * **Writing & Review:** I draft the lyrics and melody. You get a first look, and we do one round of edits to make sure the facts, names, and feelings are exactly right. * **The Recording Booth:** I record in my home studio. Whether it’s a bright acoustic guitar track or a soft ukulele backing, I handle every take myself. I use a Shure SM58 mic because it captures that honest, intimate vocal texture I love. * **The Polish:** I spend hours in my DAW (digital audio workstation) mixing and mastering the track. I’m a bit of a perfectionist here, tweaking EQ levels and spatial effects until it sounds clean and radio-ready. ### Why the DIY Approach? I believe in handling the process myself—from changing the strings on my guitar to the final mastering. Sure, it might be more work, but it means you get a track that hasn't been processed by a machine or a big studio team. You get a song that sounds like it was written in a living room, just for you. If you’re ready to get started, *aajao*—let’s see what we can create. ## About Ryan Crasto I’m Ryan.
