We meticulously craft the scene with authentic props—from the *handi* (pot) to the *veena*—to create a story, not just a backdrop. Parents often worry if their child will sit still for these setups, but we do not force poses. We give them space to play naturally, which is how we get those genuine, joyful expressions you see in the photos. Our approach to festive and cultural photography is rooted in the idea that these early years are full of firsts, and those traditions define a huge part of our identity as a family. We love helping you document them, whether you are celebrating a child's first Janmashtami, dressing them as a little *Varkari* for Ashadhi Ekadashi, or capturing the cozy excitement of Christmas in our Navi Mumbai studio. ### Why Our Themed Shoots Are Different - **Hand-Crafted Sets:** We move away from generic studio backgrounds. For our Mahashivratri or Christmas sessions, we design setups from scratch using real elements. This provides a tactile, high-quality look that feels like a real environment rather than a flat digital collage. - **Age-Appropriate Interaction:** For younger babies, we focus on safe, comfortable posing on rugs and soft surfaces within the theme. For older kids, the set becomes a playground. We want them to interact with the props, which keeps them engaged and results in the candid, happy shots we are known for. - **Cultural Authenticity:** We understand the significance of these festivals. Our setups are respectful of the tradition, aiming to capture the devotion and festive spirit accurately. From the specific color palettes for a *Shivji* look to the warmth of a holiday-themed pajama session, we make sure the mood is right. ### How to Plan Your Session We typically launch our festive mini-shoots in the weeks leading up to the occasion. Because these require custom prep, we recommend reaching out as early as possible so we can coordinate your preferred theme, outfit sizing, and studio time. If you have an idea for a cultural celebration we haven't covered yet, let us know—we are always excited to research and build a new, meaningful setup for your family. ## About Rupesh & Gauri We are Rupesh and Gauri.
