I look closely at the grain, the joinery, and how light hits the surface to ensure the artwork feels like it grew there, rather than something simply placed on top. Every piece of furniture and every architectural detail in your home has a distinct personality, and my process is about uncovering that. I don't just apply paint; I treat each surface as a canvas that requires a specific approach. Before picking up a brush, I assess the base—whether it is raw wood, a laminate wardrobe, or a ceiling beam. We start with surface preparation to ensure the paint adheres perfectly and lasts for years, using low-VOC, high-durability acrylics that are safe for your living space. My work ranges from delicate floral motifs on wardrobe doors to complex, geometric Arabic patterns on structural rafters. I often incorporate gold or silver leaf to catch the light, adding a layer of depth that changes throughout the day. Because I work on a commission basis, this is a collaborative process. We discuss your space, your upholstery, and the colors you live with, so the art feels like it has always belonged in the room. I handle projects of all scales, from small furniture accents to large-scale wall murals that define a room. Whether you want to turn a vintage book installation into a centerpiece or need a continuous botanical design flowing across your cupboard shutters, I am here to help. I am happy to travel across India for site-specific commissions, ensuring the final piece is a perfect mix of my vision and your story. ## About Studio Rudranee SA I’m Rudranee.
