When people ask what I charge for a poem, my answer is always the same: "The charges are nothing but love."](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/5703590c-41de-45b4-a200-595316a09aea) ## About As Seen In: Media & Press Features When I sit at Cubbon Park with my typewriter, the most frequent question I get is about my fee. My answer remains the same as it was in The New Indian Express: my charges are nothing but love. These press features are not just accolades, they are records of that simple, raw exchange between strangers, documenting the community that grows when we choose to listen. Writing is a solitary act, but the stories shared here prove that the resulting connection is universal. From local Kannada dailies like Prajavani documenting the 'kavyadaana' or offering of poetry at our Saturday sessions, to national platforms like SheThePeople and YourStory, these articles map a movement of self-expression. Each piece of media captures a different facet of what I do. Some delve into the technical nostalgia of my vintage typewriter, while others, like the piece in Connected to India, explore the heavier, necessary conversations like my poem 'Hello Mother' on patriarchal bias. It is humbling to see these outlets not just interview me, but witness the actual park-goers and the raw, unedited reactions they have when receiving a poem. These features serve as an archive of a time when we put down our screens, sat on the grass under Tree 3315, and chose to be vulnerable with one another. Whether you are curious about booking a private event or just want to understand the heartbeat of the 'Mumbling Joy' community, these stories offer a glimpse into the unfiltered reality of my work. ## About Ruby Naaz I am just a conduit, blessed to direct you towards your own soul through written words.
