## About Our Teams: Boys & Girls Squads

Our squad training moves beyond simple practice sessions. We divide players into distinct age groups—U-10, U-12, U-16, and U-19—because a 10-year-old learning the basics requires a completely different technical approach than a teenager preparing for KSCA league selection. Every player follows a clear progression path, moving from fundamental skill drills into structured, competitive match play.

Building a serious cricketer requires more than just talent; it requires a systematic development pipeline. At RSCA, we categorize our players by age and ability to ensure that training intensity and technical guidance are age-appropriate.

### Our Squad Philosophy
For our U-10 and U-12 groups, the focus is entirely on technical fundamentals—proper grip, stance, and basic bowling actions—delivered in an encouraging environment. As players transition into the U-16 and U-19 squads, the intensity shifts toward match-specific scenarios. This is where we introduce video analysis to correct technical flaws and use bowling machines to simulate match-day pressure.

### Inclusivity in Training
We believe cricket has no gender. Our girls' squads train with the same rigor and access to facilities as our boys' teams. By integrating them into our full-day residential and match-exposure programs, we ensure that every player, regardless of category, faces the same high-standard coaching.

### The Match Pathway
We do not just train; we compete. Whether it is our internal RSCA leagues or external tournaments like the Dasara Cup, every squad member gets the opportunity to apply their skills in a live match setting. We track individual progress through periodic fitness assessments, such as the Yo-Yo test, and ensure that every player understands their role within the team hierarchy.
