I sit with you to understand the specific love story or scene you want to capture, whether it is an engagement moment or a family milestone. Because these designs are highly intricate, I assign a senior artist for the portraits while my assistant handles the filling work. This team-based approach ensures we maintain the detail level you see in my gallery without taking all day. ### Why Portrait Mehandi Needs Precision Every couple has a unique story, and putting that onto skin requires more than just drawing skills. It takes planning. Unlike traditional floral mandalas, portrait mehandi focuses on capturing expressions, jewelry, and specific features of the bride and groom. I use my own mix of 100% organic henna paste to ensure the stain comes out dark and rich, which is crucial for the portrait details to pop against your skin. ### My Process for Custom Designs When you book a custom portrait package, we do not rush. The senior artist focuses entirely on the facial features and core figures—like a cradle or a proposal scene—while the assistant works on the surrounding patterns. This combination helps us manage time efficiently while keeping the quality high. ### Frequently Asked Questions **Can you do baby shower figures too?** Yes, I frequently do baby shower henna. Whether you want a cradle, a sleeping baby, or specific text like "Coming Soon," I can sketch it. **Does the colour stay dark?** I promise a deep stain because I use chemical-free, organic henna. I also provide aftercare instructions. Since I offer a free trial in Mumbai, you can test the stain quality yourself before we finalize the design for your big day. **Do you travel for these designs?** I am based in Mumbai and offer free home service here, but my team and I travel all over India for weddings and large events. For outstation bookings, please reach out early so we can plan the travel logistics. ## About Mehndi by Rohit I am Rohit.
