Students spend 12-16 sessions working with official game mats and regulation-grade LEGO hardware, learning how to debug autonomous code under strict time limits. We teach them to view technical failures as a necessary step toward solving complex navigation tasks. When students join our competitive robotics module, they step out of the classroom and onto the competition mat. This is where abstract coding concepts like PID line-following algorithms and sensor-based decision-making become real-world problems. ### The Training Lifecycle Most of our competition students begin with a firm grasp of LEGO Spike Prime or EV3 Mindstorms. In our 12-week intensive sessions, we move past basic build-and-test cycles. We replicate the actual Olympiad environment: * **Regulation Mats:** Students practice on official WRO and IRO game boards, meaning they face the same obstacles, mission zones, and constraints they will see on competition day. * **Precision Testing:** We emphasize autonomous movement. There is no remote control. Every turn, acceleration, and object manipulation must be coded to perfection. * **Strategy & Debugging:** One of the most critical skills we teach is how to read the mat. Students learn to prioritize missions based on point value and success probability, a skill that requires both logic and compromise when working in teams. ### Why Competition?
