This preparation phase is where I experiment with the flow of the design to ensure your story—whether it's a proposal scene or a family portrait—looks balanced and precise. It requires patience and a steady hand, but this attention to detail is how I guarantee the final stain looks as clean and sharp as the sketch. My creative process isn't just about applying henna. It starts with a conversation. When a bride asks for a portrait of her partner or a scene from their travel, I don't just improvise. I sketch the figures, the landmarks, and the expressions on paper to find the right composition. This allows me to adjust the scale and proportions so that when I finally pick up the cone, the application is smooth and confident. I use my own herbal mehndi paste, which has a distinct texture compared to store-bought cones. Because it is 100% natural and chemical-free, the application technique needs to be deliberate to achieve that deep, rich stain everyone loves. You will often find me experimenting with new figures—like the 'Marathi Mulgi' or classic Rajasthani portraits—in my studio in Bangalore. Whether I am practicing the fine lines of a peacock or shading a 3D portrait, every video and image here reflects the hours spent refining my craft.
