I often design custom, foldable study units that tuck away into the wardrobe when not in use. This keeps the floor space open for playing, ensuring the room remains a fun, clutter-free zone for your child. ### More Than Just a Bedroom A child's room needs to be versatile. It is a classroom, a playground, and a bedroom all rolled into one. At RK Interior Studio, we move beyond generic themes to build functional, interactive spaces. ### Our Approach to Kids' Rooms * **Active Play Features:** We don't just stick to wall decals. In our recent projects, we have integrated ceiling-mounted monkey bars and climbing elements. These are perfect for active kids who need to burn energy, turning the ceiling into part of the adventure. * **Theme-Based Customisation:** Whether your child loves space travel or sketching, we incorporate that into the furniture. We use custom headboards like our pencil-themed designs or specialized storage units that look like art, rather than just basic boxy cupboards. * **Smart Space Planning:** Living in Thane or Mumbai often means working with smaller rooms. We prioritize multi-functional furniture. Think beds with hydraulic storage, floating wall-mounted desks, and wardrobe integrations that keep toys and books organized but accessible. * **Safety First:** We avoid sharp edges. We use soft-close hinges on all cabinets to prevent little fingers from getting pinched and use high-quality materials that are easy to clean. ### Why Build Custom? Because store-bought furniture rarely fits the awkward nooks of a Mumbai flat perfectly. When we build it for you, we maximize every inch, ensuring there is a dedicated spot for every toy, book, and school project. If you have a specific idea or a theme your child is obsessed with right now, share it with us. We will figure out how to build it. ## About RK Interior Studio I run RK Interior Studio in Thane, and I love designing spaces for the youngest family members. We build custom play areas and study nooks that actually fit into standard Mumbai bedrooms without making them feel cramped.
