Often, CCTV cameras stop recording or display a blank screen because of a loose BNC connector, a damaged power cable, or a voltage drop in the SMPS. I carry a multimeter on every visit to trace these issues at the circuit level, ensuring we only replace parts if absolutely necessary, which saves you money on unnecessary hardware upgrades. I do not just mount cameras; I ensure your entire security setup is stable. Whether you use Hikvision, CP Plus, or Dahua, I handle the complete installation and network configuration. ### My Technical Approach * **Diagnostic First:** I start by checking the health of your power supply (SMPS) and wiring integrity. A large percentage of 'camera failure' cases are simply oxidized connectors or cable joints that need proper insulation or replacement. * **Circuit-Level Repair:** If your DVR or NVR is out of warranty and the service center tells you to replace the motherboard, talk to me first. I open the device and repair the board at the component level, fixing burnt capacitors or power regulators to extend the life of your original equipment. * **Network & Mobile Setup:** Getting your cameras to show up on your phone is standard in all my installs. I configure your IP, Subnet, and Gateway settings to match your router, ensuring P2P remote viewing works reliably without needing a Static IP. ### Common Services I Provide * **Password Resets:** Locked out of your DVR admin account? I use manufacturer-authorized challenge-response methods to recover access without wiping your recorded data. * **Preventive Maintenance:** My annual maintenance contracts cover quarterly lens cleaning, storage health checks (looking for bad sectors in your HDD), and firmware updates to keep your system secure from vulnerabilities. * **Smart Access Integration:** I link your security cameras with video door phones and biometric access systems, so you have one cohesive setup for your entrance and perimeter. ## About RK Gautam I am RK Gautam, and I spend my days working with circuits, wires, and security screens across Delhi NCR.
